Were ACBL masterpoints awarded or not? I saw mixed messages.

It’s a bit mixed up because there are two types of points 🙂 The “mock points” displayed on the leaderboard in the NABC Practice Tournament are a simulation of what the actual NABC Robot Event would award. In the background, not visible, we will also compute the real ACBL Masterpoints, at the level of usual ACBL Daylongs, and assign them to the accounts of participants.

I see that there was no stratification based on ACBL Master Points and all players were combined.

Is this the case for next weekend too?

The BBO Free Two Day Weekend Event was a free event open to all BBOers, not the NABC Practice so no stratification. The ACBL NABC Practice was stratified. It displays mock masterpoints at the moment, but real ACBL points will also be computed in the background – at the regular ACBL Daylong levels – and awarded to each participant.

How do we find out our personal results without scrolling through thousands of names?

    1. Diana

Log on BBO and look in History > Recent Tournaments. The results shown in your BBO account will highlight your results.

Why did some people who scored a lower percentage overall than I did get master points and I did not?
