Everyone is now aware of the anxioty-provoking situation gathered by the CoronaVirus Pandemia thus creating frustrated players unable to get to clubs that have closed down. That’s why several ACBL clubs tested to run live games yesterday on Bridge Base Online awarding real black points!

What was the test?

To play one of this game, player should have a valid ACBL number and being a BBO member as well

When: yesterday, Sunday, March 15th at either (or both) 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm ET.

What: Each game was last 2 hours. And each player played 18 boards. And No Robots

Price: the cost was $3/game

Award: Regular club Black Points have been awarded at exactly the same rate as you’d expect to earn them at an ACBL Club.

Players were able to experience the game from the comfort of their couch!

This alternative to real live games was offered through a collaboration between ACBL, BBO and The Common Game.
