After last week’s video on transfers in competition, I thought I’d present one of the most famous transfer structure used in constructive bidding: T-Walsh. This method is very popular in expert circles but is still not widely known for club players. In this presentation, I’ll explain the rationale behind it and two possible follow-up structures.
Finally, I’ll shortly show possible structures for the related method, “unbalanced 1🔶” openings. In that case, one can use a 1NT rebid to gain bidding room.
