UPDATE September 24: Version 5.6.9 of BBO mobile app has just been released. Please visit the app store and search for “Bridge Base” to update your app. Main change in this update is compatibility with iOS14.
UPDATE September 21: We have just released an upgrade to the web version of BBO fixing the recent problems experienced by players who have upgraded to iOS14 in the past few days.
Please use the web version of BBO until the mobile apps are upgraded. Visit www.bridgebase.com and tap Play Bridge Now to log in. Log in with your usual username and password.
We have just discovered that the latest iOS14 operating system for Apple devices causes some serious usability problems affecting almost all the lists and scrolling screens on the BBO apps and on the web version.
Symptoms are: User cannot scroll. Example of lists they cannot navigate:
- list of results in History
- list of virtual clubs
- all lists of tournaments
We’ll do our best to find a workaround as soon as possible. Meanwhile please hold off on updating your OS. We’ll post another announcement when the problem is solved.
