5 Questionable Card Decks for the Holidays

How’s about the Hasselhoff card deck?

Card decks make great gifts for bridge players, but it’s worth mentioning that the card deck should match up perfectly with the person you’re buying it for.

While a fan of horror movies might appreciate a Slasher-movie card deck, the same deck might not make for an ideal gift when gifted to your grandmother.

I spend a lot of time looking around for card decks. There’s literally one for every possible interest that you can imagine.

Of course, some of them are weirder than others.

Here are 5 questionable card decks for the holidays

#1: Hollywood Hunks Playing Cards

This card deck comes from a series called Weird Crushes.

When you want to thrill (or horrify) your local bridge club with famous people in strange positions, this deck is perfect. It’s for anyone who might still keep a few Hollywood posters around their bedroom, or for anyone who appears to be just obsessed with apparent Hollywood Hunks.

Oh, and there’s also a card deck called British Hunks, if a card player’s tastes are even more specific.

#2: Celebrity Mugshot Playing Cards

Celebrity obsession comes in all shapes and sizes.

Apparently, when people don’t look at Hollywood hunks, they might spend just as much time staring at celebrity mugshots.

Each card contains an appropriate celebrity mugshot, plus what each celebrity was locked up for.

The Ace of Spades is a DUI.

This is a great gift for bridge clubs when you don’t want them to call you back for the next game.

#3: Celebrity Tarot

Why would anyone in their right mind need a celebrity tarot deck?

If you want to foretell your future with the use of Brangelina, then that might already answer any pressing questions you might have before the reading. (In your future, you’re going to be watching a lotof reality television. Just maybe.)

Do you know anyone celebrity obsessed enough to use this?

I’m not sure how they came up with which celebrities to use. Maybe the creators just, like, threw names into a hat or spun a wheel for the answer.

#4: David Hasselhoff Playing Cards

David Hasselhoff is the Hollywood star that can be found on almost everything. Beach, balls, towels and of course, card decks.

If you know anyone who would love to have a David Hasselhoff card deck, then here you go. It’s available from a site called Stars on Stuff.

For anyone wondering about this, yes, they sell other stuff with famous people on it. Much of it doesn’t make any sense.

Why wasn’t the Ace of Spades for this card deck a picture of David Hasselhoff drunk and trying to eat a cheeseburger? It could have made it better.

#5: Pop Star Playing Cards

Do you know someone who loves pop stars?

This isn’t for them.

But do you know someone who is really obsessed with pop stars in a creepy way to the point where you’ve wondered if they might be planning to stalk the Backstreet Boys?

This is for those people.
