Zones of the WBF Explained

The World Bridge Federation (WBF) is one of the world’s largest organizations for bridge.

Among other things, they are responsible for the Laws of bridge, and work closely with other organizations to promote and manage the game.

If you aren’t sure which bridge organization is in charge, what the rules say right now, or who to ask what, ask the WBF first.

Their website has a huge (and I mean, huge) list of international bridge links and resources that everyone should take a closer look at.

You’ll also notice that they have world bridge split into different zones.

A page with the zones is available here at the WBF.

If you need a quicker explanation, here’s a fast outline of the 8 different WBF zones.

Zone 2: North America – Zone 2 of the WBF applies to North America. The North American Bridge Federation (NABF) is the representing organization for Zone 2.
