Hello BBO players!
We’ve made some updates to our Instant 100 games to make your playing experience even better. Here’s what’s new and why these updates are great:
- See Plays from Other Tables:
- After completing a board, you can now check how others played the same board. This lets you learn how others played the same hand you just finished, and understand different strategies.
- Check Your Rank While Playing:
- While playing, you can see where you stand compared to others. This helps you know how well you’re doing and adds a bit of excitement to your game.
- Easy ‘Withdraw’ Option:
- If you want to stop playing, you can easily quit the game. Click the blue “hamburger” menu to ‘Withdraw’ at any time. Now you can start a new game right away, without waiting for the one in progress to expire, or grinding through all the boards to complete it.
For those who might not be aware, there are two variations of Instant 100 available: BBO Instant 100 (8 boards, win BBO points) and ACBL Instant 100 (12 boards, win ACBL masterpoints) which have been added to the larger BBO Instant games family earlier this year. Click Instant Tournaments, and choose an Instant 100 to get started.
Additional Features:
- Flexible Play Time: You can leave and come back to finish your game later. When you log in, the game will remind you to continue.
- Join Other Games: If you’ve signed up for another game, you can still join it, even if you’re in the middle of an Instant 100. This means more playing and less waiting.
About Playing with Robots:
For those who haven’t tried Instant 100 (or other robot games) before, here’s a bit about playing with robots:
- No Need for a Partner: You can start a game whenever you like, even if you don’t have a human partner. Our robots are always ready to play with you.
- Understand Bids Easily: When playing, all bids are explained. Whether it’s your robot partner’s bid or if you’re thinking of making one, you’ll know what each bid means.
- Consistency: Robots are patient, never forget what cards have passed, never miscount, and make decisions based on programmed logic. This offers a consistent game, allowing you to focus on your game.
