On Sunday, August 18, at 7PM Paris time, 1PM in New York, the final 28 boards of the World Bridge Federation Junior (under age 26) Online Championship will be played on BBO Vugraph. The Vugraph commentary will be provided by a combination of adult experts and juniors from both the USA and Europe.

The finals pit France versus the United States.

Representing France are Arthur Boulin, Baptiste Combescure, Colin Deheeger, Luc Bellicaud, Loic Neveu, Julien Bernard, Thibault Vincenot, Victor Le Lez and non-playing captain Wilfried Libbrecht. Representing the USA are Hakan Berk, Nathan Finkle, Cyrus Hettle, Daniel Sonner, David Soukup, Victor Xu, Ilan Wolff and non-playing captain Dave Caprera.

Approximately six months ago, 33 countries entered teams to compete in the championship. After a Swiss qualification, 8 teams entered a bracketed knockout. In the semi-finals France beat China and USA beat Israel.

The final match is 56 boards. 28 boards were played on Wednesday and 28 boards will be played on Sunday. At halftime, France leads USA by 13, with a score of 42 to 29.
