Very nice problems. I don’t have to count up points every hand!

It depends on agreements with partner if xyz case new minor case and cue bid opponents showing strong hand was not considered a good bid I disagree can show same values as x and then 1 nt and maybe a better hand

Can’t agree with the analysis in problem 4. In both hearts or spades, 12 tricks are available via the club finesse. And conversely, you do NOT have 12 tricks in hearts without some kind of finesse or getting a diamond lead. The only difference between the two contracts is in hearts, you do have the extra chance of a diamond lead, or if for some reason you prefer to take the diamond finesse rather than the club finesse (but that’s a tossup). So a slight extra chance in hearts but not as much as the article suggests. There are actually opening hands that offer play in 6S but not 6H, like KQxxx xxxx KQx K (though 6NT is best if you can somehow find it). I do think 3H is the right call.

In some cases my favourite answer wasn’t there 🙁

On 7 i think in strong enough to bid 2 clubs and if pard reb8ds hearts i pass 2 hearts…if i b8d 2 hearts my pard with 6hcp rural y will pass

On the last 2H is just showing a fit – not 18-20. If you pass with a fit you will lose the part score battle. If you want to invite you have to do something else.

1H can have 3 hearts and zero points so no, 2H is not just going for the part score, it shows a good hand. That’s the point of the exercise.
