The internet says that sometime this weekend there’s a holiday called “Do Something Nice Day”. We have not found a reliable source to explain the origins of this holiday, but since we don’t need a special day to be nice, we’ll celebrate over the weekend with a free tournament open to all.
We all have our heartwarming stories with BBO and BBOers — the internet has this magic that you can make friends and socialize with people from all over the world. Although we now see a lot of robots and solitaire style games, social bridge is not lost. It’s here, it’s a big part of what makes BBO a community.
Come celebrate with us on Sunday, October 6 at 2PM US Eastern Time (8PM Central European Time) in the Do Something Nice Tournament, a free tourney hosted by Aurora.
When?
Sunday, October 6 at 2PM US Eastern Time (8PM Central European Time).
Where?
Click COMPETITIVE, then Free Tournaments and search for Do Something Nice, or for yellow host Aurora.
Who can play?
All BBOers welcome.
See you on Sunday, and remember – you can start doing something nice today, we don’t need a holiday for this!
