Counting Losers!

In this video, I discuss the Trick 1 technique of Counting Losers when playing a suit contract. I then take you through a few hands and discuss how to think of “getting rid of losers.” Like other videos in my beginner series, it is my goal to give beginners a technique to lean on as they learn this wonderful game.

    Hello again 🙂

I really enjoy your lessons. As if you were born to teach bridge.

As before I would like it even more if you could please adresss woman to, as you promised to do!

You start with a neutral hi, but goes on talking to guys, as if it is only guys that matter here.

This is an example of microaggression (sosiologi). An unintended, unconcious way of discriminate that is very effectful. In bridge this, in my opinion, is very common. I wonder why nobody but me have the guts to stand up against it.

      Macgwyer,

Thank you for drawing my attention to this again. It is something I will have to work harder on to build in. I think I use “guys” as a filler as I am collecting my thoughts so it will be tougher than most for me to change this on the fly. That being said, I think it is worth learning how to change if it is women which, of course, I don’t want to do.

Thank you for the lesson……always informative. Don’t mind your use of the word “guys.” I do the same thing myself.

Thanks for the great lesson. Learned a thing or two ;). Re: your use of guys – in some places, guys is neutral. I always used “people” – that way i did not
have to be sure I addressed all – which is tricky these days with so many variations.
