All those dogs curled up under computer stands and chairs while their owners play BBO are appreciative of the recognition of their longstanding commitment to look after their people and provide them comfort and adoration no matter how badly they might play.

My beloved Meg sits under my desk as I play online – but at the moment, having retiurned from holiday in France, I am in quarantine, so she is with a friend in order to have her walks. I shall get her back on 1st Sept and cannot wait.

Man IS dog’s best friend and will bring you luck in bridge unless it needs to go out while you’re in the midst of defending a slam bid

Groucho Marx said it best. “Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend.
Inside of a dog, it is too dark to read.”

I’ve done my part. Adopted a 10-year old husky 5 weeks ago to go along with my Belgian sheepdog. Both are big fans of bridge and are ever watdchful while I play.

When we go for our long daily walk I can get all the bad bridge out of my system and give out to her about my “bad” partners. She is an excellent listener.
