Awards: Red and Gold masterpoints / BBO points
Entry fee: 15 BB$ per player, per session for all events and will support the League in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Limits: ACBL members only
You might be asked to update your ACBL number or renew your ACBL membership if it expired. Renew here, or Or Update here
Entries open two hours before the first session of each tournament event. Click on ACBL World to find the tournament.

I hate to say that there are lots of couple playing virtual local club games . Sitting in sane room on different devices . Cheating and winning . Please, make a note of that . Thanks , for your efforts for replacing regular games by virtual and facing this problems. Thanks

Virtual Bridge is like golf. It relies on the character of the people who are playing. There will always be ways to “cheat” if that is your bent.

If you’re playing at 4 PM – how do you sign up for the 7;30 PM game and ensure you get a spot? There are a limited # of tables and the 4 PM game will run past 5:30 PM when registration starts for the 7:30 PM game.
“Entries open two hours before the first session”…..Not “each” session. So you sign up for both sessions at the same time.

There will be many entries, how many will actually win gold? Do you have to win both sessions? Because at regular tournaments it seems like 1 pair wins gold.

There is definitely a lot of cheating going on. 2people playing in the same room on 2 separate computers looking at the other tables when one of the two people of played. wish there was a way to stop this. It is really discouraging, unethical and just plain rotten for those cheaters to so this. Special Ops

Dear folks who think people are cheating. Many of us have played BBO online for years. I don’t think I have ever come across cheating. In fact when questionable things happen, we notify the director and they look at the situation. Bridge is still bride and you cannot cheat as easily as you might think. My two cents.

We played in the gold rush today honestly, playing 3 floors apart.
It was clear that a few of the teams clearly were communicating.
On board 18 they were bidding spades only, we were bidding hearts. Somehow he knew his partner was out of clubs and to go back and forth. This was after they failed to alert puppet stayman. and when I said something he said oh they are knew, but they both had numbers next to their names. There were other teams that “knew” stuff too. Seems that I guess if all you want are gold points, you don’t need any morals.

What is the point of cheating? You do not learn anything and there can’t be any satisfaction in a “win” that you didn’t really win. Some people need to get a life!
