How do I signup for the Bots Tournament?
I don’t know there to leave this complaint, but I have wanted to tell SOMEONE for some time.
I like to play SOLITAIRE sometimes but the “robut partner” bids are totally out-of-whack which takes all the fun out of it…OK, it makes me MAD!!
Right now I had 17 pts, equal distribution & opened w 1NT.
My partner w opening pts bid ONE CLUB. Thinking Stayman, I answered 2D.
With opening pts & 5 spades, my partner PASSED.
We could have made a game in NT or SPADES.
WHAT GIVES?!?!

I myself find the robot sometimes engaging in inexplicable bidding. But I’m such a novice that I attributed it to my stupidity. In some cases that I bring to the attention of my teachers, they’ll say, “ Oh, that’s cue bidding.” (or whatever explanation). But other times they scratch their heads on some of the robot bids. I don’t want to pester them too much.
It would be nice if prior to a robot being assigned to me for solitaire, that it would check my profile and see the “novice” rating, then assign the robot with the most basic bidding capability.
My partner was replace in the ACBL SYC game #2317 this morning for no reason!!! We want our money back.
