The Top Bidders for Set 2021-9
We have joint winners this month, both scoring a most impressive 78/80. One of those is our second guest panelist to top the panel, our defending champion leading the field for the third consecutive month. The other is a player who just missed out on winning by a single point a couple of months ago. Two very worthy champions this month:

Hanoi Rondón is a bridge teacher who has been in love with the game from the moment he discovered his first bridge article in a newspaper some 27 years ago. Originally from Venezuela, he currently lives in Chile. He teaches bridge online and has a YouTube channel called ‘Bridge Entretenido’.

Annual competition leaders (after 9 months)
It’s getting very tight at the top, and next month many players will start to drop their poorest scores. That gives an advantage to those with the lowest worst score, as they can add the most to their total. The number in parenthesis after each player’s total is the score they will replace (assuming they better it) next month.
Those with no number after their name will, of course, be adding the whole of next month’s score to their total. Of those who missed one or more months earlier in the year, both Kresten (62.75 average) and Fergus (67.57) are both very much in contention. By the end of the year, they will have the same nine counting scores as everyone else.
The leaderboard includes all players with at least seven scores who are averaging more than 50/80.
